For me, creativity has always been a way of life. It’s the spark that allows me to see a blank space and envision a celebration, and it’s the reason I do what I do today. When the idea for this business hit me, the logo and name came to me in the most vivid dream I've ever had and within hours, The Blue Oak Company Bridal and Events Rentals LLC was created. That kind of creativity isn't forced—it’s a natural calling that I’ve followed my entire life-from strong roots! 

Having lived in the Illinois Valley my entire life and raised my family in this community, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment in helping future brides and partygoers celebrate their biggest milestones. As a Certified Wedding Associate through the CWP Society, I’m here to handle the behind-the-scenes details, making sure your special day is as seamless as it is beautiful.

I believe every host deserves to feel like a guest at their own event. I’m truly blessed to share my love for design with you and to help bring your unique celebration to life right here in Central Illinois.

🦸‍♀️My Superpower: The Detail Detective! While others see the forest, I see every single leaf—ensuring the smallest details (the candles, the decor, the seating) are perfectly in place.

Meet Candis! While we are deep in the planning phases for our 2026 and 2027 seasons, we are actively growing our roster of experts. Although Candis has been back in the Illinois  Valley for many years, she previously spent time in Florida as an Event Specialist for The Arc of Palm Beach County—orchestrating extensive, high-scale parties and events.

Though she has a busy Monday–Friday career, she’ll be occasionally helping us out on a weekend coordination or at some of our bridal shows this season to put that expertise to good use. If you are lucky enough to have an event where Candis is one of our second coordinators, you are in incredible hands. And if you think she looks familiar, she should—she happens to be my sister!

She literally runs marathons! Between her training and her ability to stay calm and smiling while managing a 200+ person guest list, she is always ready to go the extra mile.
